There are 93 Indian Coast Guard Ships that are presently in service, operating to perform various functions such as Offshore Patrol Vessels, Inshore Patrol Vessels, Pollution Control Vessel, Interceptor Crafts and Boats, Fast and Extra Fast Patrol Vessels, Defence Boat and Hovercrafts. Many of these vessels and airplanes have been built in India and some have been imported from various countries such as Korea and UK.
